Here I am once again with another one of Strawberry’s meme’s 😀
I find these so fun to do and like I have already mentioned it is helping me get my blog posts out on time because it’s giving me something to concentrate on.
Even though I am a few years late lol I will continue with them until I am all caught up, then I can follow them every Monday 😉

So before I get on with the meme I just wanted to show off what I am wearing.
The Ashly Leather Tunic, is one of GizzA’s newest releases and it comes in 5 standard mesh sizes in 8 cosy colours (or so I think) with a very daring v neck plunge down the front and also available in a fatpack! If you can’t stop at buying one colours.
Please try a demo before buying.
Next is the skin from Pink Acid in this picture I am wearing Mocho Choco, Catherine comes in a total of 4 tones with all appliers except Maitreya as Stasey is currently working on them, you can find this adorable skin at The Seasons Story.
Next is some hair from Red Mint which I started blogging for this week and I am so excited about that, I have a few hairs to show off from there but I wanted to start with this one as I felt it went with my current look.
Oh hey, do you guys think I look like a drug dealer? Someone actually came up to me and asked “Do you have the merchandise?”.. I almost cried with laughter.
This hair is part of the Natural pack but there are many others in each pack comes one fitted mesh hair with a HUD for the Hair, locks and hat. So yes the hat is colour changeable.
Each hair pack contains 15 colour styles and an alpha layer to hide bald spots.

Meme instructions: Answer the following 20 personal questions about your Second Life.
When and how did you discover Second Life?
It was May 2006 and it was my Brother that showed me a website about it and thought I would be interested mainly because of my love for The Sims.
Did you know about virtual worlds before or was this your first experience with them?
I wasn’t a hardcore PC gamer, I was more into Play stations until of course The Sims made it’s first appearance and I was hooked lol.
Has Second Life met your expectations?
I never had any when entering but it’s obviously been doing something right as I am still here almost 9 years later.
If you could teleport back to the first ten minutes of your avatar’s slife, what would you tell yourself?
Do not ask those kind of questions to that helper. 😛
How long did it take you to master avatar flying and driving vehicles in-world?
Flying was a breeze after a week or so but mainly I would walk everywhere because I would forget we are able to fly. As for vehicles, I haven’t tried for a while, that experience kind of died down after I got my shiny pink convertible… and wasn’t even able to drive it to the next building let alone a race track, once I got better at it the place I was working at kind of lost its fascination with cars.
Do you have a mystery alt?
Those of you that know me know that I cannot keep that kind of stuff away from people lol. I can be the biggest secret keeper when it comes to you trusting or confiding in me but if it’s something to do with myself, it’s impossible. I do have an alt and I have been known to trick my friends before admitting it’s me, though 90% of them guess already, maybe it’s because of something I say or how I type, I dunno lol
Is your SL avatar a reflection of you, or someone you wished you could be?
I am my avatar, she is crazy, goofy, caring and loving just like I am, apart from the fact that she is not terribly shy whereas in the real world I am. I could stand in a room full of people and not say a word, I am so shy it’s crazy. However I was not as tall or stick thin as she was, was being before I edited her size the other day lol. And I am no longer blonde, I went back to my original colour… Just for curiosity purposes, I am a Brunette. 😛
Is there an individual you met in SL that inspired you in your RL? How?
I have a few but this main person made me realise that there are people out there who do love you for who you are, will listen to all your worries and just be there and no matter how long you go without talking, you can always pick up where you both left off. This person holds such a huge part of my heart and is still keeping it safe for me.
Do you feel it is easier to create stronger bonds/relationships with people you meet inworld as opposed to the real world?
Like I said I am shy in RL but I can also read people very well, if I know we could become good friends I will take the time and converse with them, maybe spend sometime shopping. If your first impression to me comes off as bitchy I will just leave it there, I don’t have time for people like that. I feel it’s the same in both worlds, you can sense what kind of an attitude people have by the way they voice or type.
Did you ever imagine or believe people could fall in love with someone they never met before Second Life?
I’m living proof of that, the man I am with now I met in Second Life four years ago, we met 6 months after that and have been inseparable ever since. So my answer is yes, it’s very possible.
Just don’t toy with peoples emotions because you’re behind a screen.
How has your perspective of dating changed (or not) since you started playing second life?
I’m happy with my partner, I don’t need to date in either world lol.
How has your perspective of employment changed (or not) since you started playing second life?
It’s so crazy that people can make a living here in a game, when you think (or at least I do) of gaming you think of it as a way to relax after a hard day at being at the office, personally I think if there is anyway of making money to make a living you (as long as it’s legal lol) should just go for it with all your heart. People do here and not nearly as many of them get much credit for what they do, I think it’s fascinating.
Name three things in both your lives that overlap each other significantly.
Friends, Inspiration and Time.
If you could live your life more immersively in a virtual world, would you? (Kind of like the Matrix)
Don’t get me wrong I love being here but I feel sometimes we just need to snap back to reality, too much of one thing can become tedious.
How do you think behaviour changes for people if they’re inworld vs in real world? Why do you think that is?
It’s so easy to hide behind your computer screen I find that most people so much more mean to others and use alot of the “I don’t give a shit” attitude. I believe it would be a whole different story if it was a requirement to come into Second and they had to have a camera on them 24/7 and we would probably loose a few thousand hahaha.
How has second life consumerism changed your perception of spending habits, the value of money, the need to be “bleeding edge” with fashion?
I’ve never had a problem managing money.
Do you think virtual worlds like SL drive and redefine human interaction or do they narrow and limit it?
There is already so much to SL now compared to 9 years ago but I feel it is only going to get better. I think it drives it, so much more than being in RL situation, say for example in a club, I would most likely have to be a little tipsy to strike up a conversation, with SL, you can just click a box and start typing, they don’t have to know who you are or what you look like, I think for many people this is a way to help possibly hide who they are or show only what they want to be seen.
If technology progressed tomorrow to allow you to send emotions to people the way you’d send text or voice messages, would it enrich your SL experience or infringe on it?
I’d go crazy with it, if it was possible to hug people, I would be hugging everyone who looked like they needed a hug lol.
Name three skills you attribute to having learned or honed in second life alone.
Photoshop, People skills and money making.
If your grand kids googled your Second Life Avatar’s name, would they be intrigued, disgusted, proud or something else?
I’d hope that they would be proud of their Nanny lol however explaining the “why’s” and “hows” might be somewhat of an issue lol.
